It's been a while since i've last updated what I have been up to, but this is the first chance i've had to sit down and think clearly about what i've been doing myself!:) Upon arriving home (Michigan) safely from Thailand, I spent a couple of days doing laundry, repacking, and in meetings for Urban Arts before I hopped in my car to drive to Washington D.C. I got into D.C. pretty exhausted, jet lagged, and trying to figure out why I said yes to directing a play 3 days after I flew in from Thailand. But after some much needed sleep and a "first" rehearsal with the cast, I knew I had made the right decision!
I had 4 1/2 weeks to pull off a full production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was a success! We had a lot of laughs during our practices and some pretty special moments. Enjoy the pictures and if you're interested in purchasing a DVD of the production let me know!
